CANCELLATION OF STUDY PERMIT OF CANADA

Hi Folks....I am planning to go back to india next month. Would anybody please let me know how to cancel study visa and get GIC refund from CIBC.....?? please please let me know...I am stuck here

Why do you want to cancel your study permit? You cannot cancel a permit that is issued. You just don’t use it.

I just wanted to cancel because I’m right now in canada and I want to go back home. So after cancelling only i will get the GIC refund right.

You cannot cancel a study permit. Ask the school to advise IRCC that you are no longer a student and then it will be cancelled. Getting refund depends on school policy and very school is different so contact your school.
