Cancellation of Copr after getting stamped passport and COPR

Hello, i received a message in my gc key account stating “
The Confirmation of Permanent Residence documents and Visa Counterfoil currently in your
possession have been cancelled. Your application has been re-opened and therefore your CoPRs
are not valid for travel”. However, this was received on the same day in the evening when i got my dispatch msg for stamped passport. Now, i have the stamped passport and copr but of no use. Does anyone know what could be done about this??
I have applied under express entry visa

damn!

This is really painful, you'd have to call and find out why it was cancelled, so so sorry.

Hi,
I still not received any update from IRCC regarding cancellation of COPR
But in between that issue, can i travel to canada or is it safe to travel on visitor visa as i already have that?

No, I don’t think because they IRCC cancelled all visas when they issued the COPR.
but you can double check with any IRCC lawyer.
did you apply gcms notes?

Not sure what you mean by the first part of the question with "can i travel to canada or" - you can't travel to Canada on the cancelled CoPR. But, you can travel using your visitor visa. It will be upto CBSA to determine whether you are a genuine visitor or not.

Good chance TRV would have been cancelled when COPR was issued although should confirm that. If TRV was cancelled could reapply once COPR cancellation is confirmed.

oh yes! I completely missed this line from OP:
"The Confirmation of Permanent Residence documents and Visa Counterfoil currently in your
possession have been cancelled "

Since he was issued an actual CoPR, yes, his TRV would have been cancelled.

we are in same boat, this my number 7700000783 you can call me anytime to keep updated to each other. i received the gcms notes in which they just mentioned the copr has been canceled. i hired a lawyer, she will update us by next week. well be happy to get your whatsapp number as well.

we have two stamps on passport, one for work permit and 2nd one for PR. PR stamp and COPR has been canceled. my question is- can we travel on behalf of work permit Stamp?

Hi,

We received the same 'information letter' on 13th feb, have requested for gcms notes. Oinp, healthcare draw, outland aplicant from India.
We haven't even received our passports with visa or the copr document yet, we'd submitted our passports on 27th Jan after receiving rfv on 23rd Jan 2025. Even before we got our passports we got this update.
I have a few questions if someone can help
1. Has anyone gotten to know the reason for this? We haven't gotten any information regarding what has happened, and why. How soon can we expect any info from ircc on the reason for the same?
2. What are the next steps? What do we do now? Anything that anyone with similar situation did and helped them move forward, or get any info regarding what to do?

Also, anyone in similar situation- happy to exchange notes and help out each other in understanding how to resolve this
