Canceling Sponsorship

My wife, of just over 1 year, has been using me for sponsorship. She now has a residency card. I was wondering if it is too late to cancel this sponsorship.

Once she has her PR card there is nothing you can do.... sadly, you are still obligated to the 3 year sponsorship agreement...

If she gained her PR status based on your sponsorship, as soon as she landed there was no chance of you cancelling your sponsorship or undertaking.

If she had a separate application that was approved and granted her status through a different stream (e.g., skilled worker, CEC) and was approved through there, then you should withdraw your family class application if CIC hasn't done it already.
