Hi,

I'm working for a Canadian IT firm (on deputation from India) from Jan 2017. while submitting my express entry profile I selected 'I don't have a valid job offer in Canada' as my employer does not issue it to me. I have
6 years of total work experience under NOC 2174 of which one year is in Canada

However the score I got is not considering my canadian work experience.
Is it because I selected 'I don't have a valid job offer in Canada' . Does this have any impact on my score

Please advise.

Thanks in Advance.

Not having a valid job offer is not a reason for not getting points for your Canadian work experience.

Thanks for the response.

Do you know what I might be missing in my profile for not considering my Canadian work experience.

I have given in the employment section that I'm working in a Canada IT company from Jan 2017 till date under NOC 2174 but my canada work experience score is 0.

Please advice

Thanks in Advance

1 - Selecting self-employed.
2 - Inputting an incorrect number in the hours worked per week.
3 - Actually working on part-time basis and not being eligible for those points yet.
4 - Answering incorrectly certain questions regarding your work permit.
