Good day,
To whom it may concern
I really need help. I would like to visit Canada sometimes in October with my daughter to attend my cousin's 40th birthday. He is willing to support us with necessary documents. What are my chances of getting the visa? Is it a service you can render to help perfect our application. Because based on some other people's stories I have read, I got scared of been rejected. Please advice thank you

None of us here are consultants. If you're looking for an immigration consultant make sure you get one that is ICCRC licensed.

Save the money and do it yourself. Your cousin's 40th birthday is not considered a good reason to travel. Where are you from? do you have strong ties to your country like a job, property? Can you pay for your entire visit without using a significant part of your savings? If you are married will your husband remain at home? Have you travelled to other countries similar to Canada that require visa before?

I am trying to apply a visitor visa for my father. He will be able to support himself ( How much Cad dollars do we put in the application) . Also, does my Invitation letter needs to be Notarised? He is actually just coming to visit me and travel, I am not sure if that is a strong enough reason.

1. Depends on the length of the trip. Roughly $300 x number of days is a reasonable place to start. The more money he shows, the better, obviously.
2. The invitation doesn't need to be notarized.
3. It can be a good reason. It depends on his profile - his prior travel history, financial history, ties to home country etc. If it looks like he's coming to visit his daughter and there's little to no risk of him overstaying, it won't be an issue.

He should declare his actual savings with proof. His savings should correspond with his earning potential versus just putting money in his account.
