My mother is Canadian, my father was (he has since passed away) American. So i hold a dual citizenship

I am not familiar with the rules of holding a dual citizenship. For instance, if i travel to the USA and want to work, live, marry, etc
do i have less restrictions cause i hold a dual? or would i have to go through the same process as someone that did not?

Thank you for taking the time to read.

With citizenship you have not only rights but also responsibilities. Did you know that as a US citizen, you are required to file taxes in the US, even if you don't live there? They have a tax treaty with Canada so you probably wouldn't pay anything but still. Also, if male, you are required to register with the US selective service in case there's a draft. When you travel to the US, you should use your US passport, they are a bit picky on that too. If you choose to live and work in the US, you just go there. Absolutely no restrictions because you are a US citizen.
