Hi all
I am Pakistani student currently studying in a International Studies graduate program in the United States. I'm looking for some entry-level position in Canada in the think tank. If I were to hypothetically find a position, I would of course need a temporary permit to work. What are the conditions to find it and get a job in Canada for a research position in a think tank? Is this possible? Or would I have to enroll in a school to find a way to work in Canada? I am actively looking for jobs in the United States but I wanted to broaden my search.

I am pretty unfamiliar with Canadian visa regulations and more generally Canadian job searches and I hope that I can find help over here. Thank you for your time.
 
You'll likely find it quite difficult to find an employer who is willing to hire you in Canada. This is because an employer must obtain an approved LMO to be approved hire you. To understand what this involves read the information in the link below:
