Next year I will apply for Ms by research Electrical Engg Dept in some unis....
Are people getting Student Visa General Category by TOEFL instead of IELTS??.....Waiting for reply

no one can stop to apply for Canadian student with valid TOEFL IBT test score... TOEFL is valid all over the world and having same reputation as IELTS.. both having the same modules to check the proficiency of the candidate in 4 different modules... Reading, Listening, writing and speaking,,

some years ago USA does not recognize the IELTS but now all most of top ranked US uni./ coll except IELTS score too..

so you have 97 score on IBT format .. u can convert this equivalent IELTS score and figure out where u can get admission in Canada.

there is a standard tool to convert TOEFL score in equivalent IELTS and Visa officer knew very well how to convert this and they just need a evidence of your English language competency ,, it may be fulfill with IELTS/ TOEFL/ MELAB/ CAE/ PTE or other way... not matter.

Hii..gkb...Thanks for ur support....in tool converter toefl score 97=ielts score 7 which is more than enough for canadian visa requirement...Infact toefl is harder than ielts...So CIC should have to accept toefl....
