Canadian sponsoring Australian Husband Sep 2016 still waiting!!!!

Hey guys

The Canadian site says processing time should be 11mths. Out land application.

So i should have been completed Aug 2017.

Website say "in progress" haha!

I had an interview in Jan 2017 about why I didnt include my 15yr daughter who lives with her mother and they said i should know by Jun last year.

Nothing!

is there a way I can make contact with them here in Sydney (besides email, tried that) or my wife somehow make contact in Canada?
 
Inland applicants have the option to call CIC but outlaws I believe is only through emails.

Best option is to order your GSMC notes. They will take a month to arrive but will tell you the most about the status of your file.

When you say that you haven't included your 15 year old daughter, do you mean she's excluded entirely (i.e. no medical)? If so, that's probably a very big reason for the delay. I would also say it's very unusual for Aussies to require interviews. Was the only item discussed at the interview your daughter's inclusion int he application?

yes they wanted to know why i wasn't including her. And i said she lives with her mother and doesn't have much to do with me, and does not wish to move to canda.

Just seems way to long to get an answer hey!

I was an August 2016 outside applicant and my case took nearly 21 months to be completed. My interview took place February 2017 when I was told, I’ll hear from them in 3 to 4 weeks but it wasn’t till a year later when I got my police checks and remedial request. Myself and my rep sent many emails to no avail, however they commenced responding when my hubby’s MP got heavily involved. Perhaps you should ask your wife to get her MP on board. Has been only two weeks that I got my landing papers for my daughter and I. We will be doing the landing next weekend. Thank goodness it’s over. Hope yours will be soon finalised. Good luck.

excellent glad its worked in the end. its funny i could have dont inland or out land but was advised many times outland was quicker. lol.

thanks for the tip. i will get onto that. :)
