Canadian Sibling Question

Hi all,

I am in the process of filling up the PR forms online. I have a sibling who is a Canadian citizen but didn't enter it to qualify for EE nor add it to EE profile as I don't want to use that additional points. However, in order to not misrepresent oneself then I have to enter "yes" to the question "does applicant have a relative who is a citizen or PR of Canada" and provide the additional details for that relative. If I leave this part blank then the form does not pass the completeness check so it's mandatory although it does not indicate that it's mandatory.

With this information is leading to CIC asking for multiple documents to prove relationship and other things about this sibling and is indicating that these documents are mandatory. I have sufficient points so I don't need these additional points and don't want to ask for these documents.

Was anyone in this position and how did you handle this? I am thinking of writing a letter (LOE) and attaching it in the location for each of their request indicating that I am not seeking points for this relative in Canada but is only indicating it to meet full and truthful disclosure.

I would like to see what others have done if possible.

Thanks.
