I already have a degree. And if I complete the Canadian Securities Course (CSC). Will I be able to gain more points under education?. Can I click - Two or more certificates, diplomas, degrees. One must be for a program of 3 or more years?.

Hi, please i have an important question: are you sure that CSC exam (bank industry) doesn't count in the 67 point to be selected in entry express? i ask this because it is respected designation like CPA ? I ask so because i hesitate to pass the exam either CPA or CSC. Thanks my friends

CSC counts for no points.

CSC is also much much easier to pass than CPA. CPA is in a different category than CSC and not at all comparable. Regardless, no points for CSC.

Sad it does not count because it is a national exam for bank industry. perhaps put it in the degrees will give a good opinion.
I don't understand why is much easier: there are 800 pages with tax, rules, details etc. so it is not a piece of cake otherwise everyone would have it? right or wrong?

A huge number of people have CSC. CSC is very easy compared to CPA.

I have my CSC. Yes, there's a fair amount of reading but it's not complicated material and not hard to pass. CPA is three levels of exams that are extremely difficult and have high failure rates.

Anyway, ultimately all of this doesn't matter. There are no points for CSC under EE.

Thanks a lot. OK no points, so if i prepare it and i still could put it among my degrees to have someting canadian. (i m disapointed by your response,, i did not know that many people have it (are you sure? even in retail bank?)

It's not a degree or diploma. So you would not list it there. You can list it on your resume. You don't include it for EE. It doesn't give you any points.

I work in banking. Tons of people have their CSC. Again, it's one of the easiest designations to get.

Know a lot of people who did it in high school. Could probably justify points for CPA and CFA.
