Hello All

I am a Canadian PR working on H1B visa. I need to travel and pursue H1B stamping. Does any one here who is also a PR holder have any experience with H1B stamping? Were any questions pertaining to Canadian PR put to you in H1B stamping interview? I would really appreciate i you could share your experience. Thanks.

I had my PR visa (did not land yet) when I went for H1B stamping. No questions were asked about Canadian PR.

Last week, I read few posts on immigrationvoice.com, I got three posts (posted recently), they were asked for company documents, US consulate acknowledged that candidate papers are okay but they asked for company detail such as - how many H1 holder are in company, what is bench policy.... in one of the post candidate got call from US consulate that his visa result may be late by 2 weeks; that guy cancelled his appointment with US consulate; went to India had interview in Mumbai got the visa and came back to USA.

gjp,
Thanks for your response. Did you go to Canada for H1B stamping? Is it safe to pursue H1B renewal stamping in Canada. I am working for the same employer since my first H1B. Please advise.

Need help in getting appointment of H1B in Canada

Here is our situation:
I am currently on H4 visa and my spouse is on H1B. Our last stamping was done in India and Currently we have Canadian COPR which is yet to be activated. Would we be eligible for Dropbox or would have to take in person visa appointment? If eligible for dropbox ,then can we mail in documents from USA to Canada or have to go to Canada and then submit the documents? Having said this USA embassy mail back passports to USA or some authorize person has to pick from USA consulate to Canada?
