Rather than repeating what is required on the CIC site, I suggest you read it yourself: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-how.asp

Some tips to make you enter into the self-learning process.

1) The first thing you should check is whether u can find an "eligible occupation" matching your experience. Because there are only 50 eligible occupations currently (July 2014). They change the eligible occupations every year. For eg, Chemical engineering was included as an 'eligible occupation' in 2013. But not now. So go to CIC website and take the list of the 50 eligible occupations and find their corresponding NOC code. refer this web page>> cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/complete-applications.asp

2)Then, for the explanation of those 50 occupations, Download the pdf version of NOC (2011) here: hrsdc.gc.ca/NOC/English/NOC/2011/Welcome.aspx
Caution: All the occupations in this document are NOT eligible for immigration. Only 50 occupations are eligible.

3) You should check the explanation of occupations (among the eligible 50) that may possibly match your experience. This step is very important. You should get a reference letter from your employer(s) for the last 10 years, explaining your duties, annual salary and annual working hours. The duties stated in this reference letter should match the explanation of the occupation in the NOC by 70%. People say a minimum of 70% match. But I would suggest to get 80% match, if you don't want to take chances. But there are cases, where people reported that they had only 60% match but still managed to get PR.

4) Your title (position at your workplace; eg: engineer/ executive/co-ordinator etc) does not matter much. The duties in the lead statement and in the explanation should match. But if you also have a 'matching title' as given in NOC, all the better!

5) You can calculate your points based on the instruction guide (IMM EG7000) -download the pdf document.>> cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/skilled.asp You can also download all the other forms there.
Also check for overview: cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-who.asp

4)You need IELTS score

5) Which class , i can apply You should be fine, if you do steps 1-3. also, After doing your own homework, go to canadian immigration consultants. Canadian immigration agencies are there in every city in India. They will give you FREE initial consultation. That way you can get more info. Check newspaper for ads or google for their contact.

6) For getting info on documents, you should refer the document checklist. Refer items 8~16 in this>> cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5612E.pdf

7) Finally how to apply: cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-how.asp

Note: This is a general guideline. There could be more issues. I am using the service of an agent, to be on the safer side. But I know people, who did all these by themselves and got their PR. The agents in India usually charges 1 to 2 lakh rupees, apart from the embassy fee (C$550 for application + C$490 for landing). You can also expect to spend an additional 50,000 rupees for "IELTS+courier+ certificates-attestation+ transcripts+other miscellaneous items". If you chose to do it by yourself, you need to keep checking the CIC website almost every day during the process. They keep changing rules every moment. so if there comes up an additional requirement, or change in application form (yes, they update their application form every now and then), you need to know that.
