Canadian PR and H1B with AOS - Canadian Job Question

Hello ,

Just have a quick question .

I am on H1b - with pending AOS , EAD/AP received , I also Have a Canadian PR , did my landing and have a job offer from Canadian firm ,

Can i continue to work from US and still take the canadian job since its remote .

I am planning to rent in Regina (PNP nominee) , i will visit this location once/twice a week , mostly spend time in US , will this be an issue in future on both side ?

Please let me know .

This isn't an immigration question. You need to ask your employer if remote work from the US is allowed.

Sorry - just to add to my answer above...

I guess the question on whether you can continue working on the H1b in the US is an immigration question. I can't answer that.

In terms of whether you can work remotely for your employer out of the US, that's a question you have to ask your employer in Canada. That specific question is not an immigration question.

Just be aware that after you became PR, you need to meet RO (2 years out of 5 years). If you don't, you risk being reported when crossing borders and eventually lose your PR status.
