Canadian police check / criminal record check for citizenship

Hello friends,

i am slowly gathering everything necessary for my citizenship application. I got my police check back from The Netherlands, but was wondering if I need a Canadian police check / criminal record check for my Citizenship application as well ( one requested from RCMP ).

Check the instructions just in case - but short answer, IRCC can request directly from RCMP (you likely have to check a permissions box but again - in the instructions).
