Canadian Police Certificate outside Canada for PR.

I have spent 6 months last year in Canada.
Now I am applying for Express Entry and PR of Canada. Do I have to obtain a Canadian police certificate as I have spent 6 months there?
If Yes, so My Inquiry is about how can I obtain a Canadian police certificate while I am actually living In Egypt now ?

According to this page, you do NOT need to provide a police certificate for Canada.

"The Canadian visa office will tell you if you need a Canadian criminal record check while your application is being processed."
