CANADIAN PCC

I am in Canada and they are asking for a PCC. what should i do ? Could somebody tell me how to get it done. ?

They are asking for fingerprints too. Is it a good or a bad thing ? I wws on restoration when i applied for pr.

CIC conducts name-based checks in Canada for ALL PR applicants, that is why you do not have to initially submit a Canadian PCC when you apply.

If the name-based check comes back with a criminal record - for example, you have the same name as someone with a criminal record - then CIC will ask you to provide a finger-print based check to prove your individual record. It's not bad, it's a minor annoyance.

At what stage of processing do they ask for it ? Just wondering if i am close to a decision ?

It is a good sign. CIC doesn't ask for this early in the process.
