Or you can pay extra $20 to collect from the PP office but you have to do it at the time of applying.

Just curious that the one who sign for the passport that delivery need to be the one who apply or any one in the house can sign for?

Anybody in your household can sign the passport. They are generally liberal.

you have to sign the delivery receipt, if no one at your house, you will received a notice and you will pick it up in the nearest Canada post (the one mentioned in the delivery slip)

If anyone in household can sign for in family's pass port, why officer ask to pay for 20 cad for assigning someone's to pick up at the passport's office?

Officer inform that the applicants need to sign th reciept by themselves, when the mail in.

why you making it hard for you to get the passport? if you can pickup on your own then pay the 20cad if you dont want to pickup your passport, as easy as that.
