What issues are you thinking of?

I need to wait 2 business days to a week before you can apply just to make sure the paper work is all done just to be on the safe side. Otherwise no.

What kind of questions are being asked to the Guarantor and 2 References by the Passport office?

Do they even call Guarantor and 2 references (who knows you from 2 years)?

From what others have been posting, they call guarantor when you apply for urgent passport, less likely when you apply normal.
