Before passport, you have to apply for citizenship. You need to have been living in Canada as a PR for 1095 days (3 years) total in the 4 year period immediately before you apply. If you were in Canada on a student visa or temporary work permit before getting PR, you may count that time at 50% value but within the last 4 years also so the minimum time you can be PR before applying for citizenship is after 2 years if you had lived in Canada on a temporary permit for the 2 years previous and never left.

Processing citizenship takes average 13 months. You will have to take a citizenship test and attend a ceremony. After the ceremony, you can apply for a passport. Normal time is around 2 weeks to get it but you can also pay an extra fee if you need it faster.

Yeah, 3-4 years after getting PR normally.

If you land as a PR already and never leave for a day for 3 years, you can apply right away after 3 years. If you take vacations outside Canada, you'd have to add that time.

If you were already in Canada on a student visa or temporary work permit for 2 or more years before you got PR, you would be able to apply 2 years after getting PR, again if you had left Canada, you would have to add that time.

The 13 months is the average processing time for citizenship. You could get it faster or slower. I got mine in August and it took me 2.5 years just the processing.
