i got my passport recently though I am not sure whether i should be signing above or below of signature of bearer (page 3)?

that is what i wanted to do first though it seems weird that there is whole lot of space below than up.

In case of a baby canadian passport, who signs the signature of bearer. Should the parent sign and add child's name above? Or Leave it blank?

leave blank. They specifically told us at the passport office and gave us a flyer in case customs would give us trouble for it.
