You have to wait for 2 working days..give 3 to be on the safe side

I applied for urgent passport and they had called both my references and guarantor. They had asked detailed questions like my age, address, kind of work i do, my hair colour, my skin tone, how do I appear, height, weight and even if I have a beard or mustach. So keep your references and guarantor updated.

really? i actually doubting that my reference wont be able to answer the phone they are both busy during the day

Hello, I had happily my citizenship certificate and apply to regular passport.

All my references and qurantor called by office . In my case,I didn't have qurantor so I had to have 4 references instead.

I didint see my two references about 2 years.I met them at Vancouver and now I am at Montreal. so some questions
they cant answer properly..like my weight,hair ( I have changed since they see me last time). My application is hold now and
I am looking another 2 references ( I gave the office 6 references so far).

I have hard time to get the passport ???

Why would they even ask for the weight?? what if you haven't seen your long time friend for 6months and you have gained like 30 lbs lol.

well this is the issue...You may change totally your hair,weight etc.. Do I have to send them my recent photo each month?

I dont understand all this work and bureaucracy.

Well then you have to talk to your references and tell them your height, weight, hair, work, address etc.

I started to telling that but they may be forget during the busy day... It doesn't mean they don't know you in person.

Not necessarily, they can call any random applicant for a reference check. But the one I received for was an urgent application.
