In their website they say to wait 20 business days before contacting us for status update?!! But the processing time for the whole process is 20 business days.

Applied: Feb 1
Delivered to Ottawa: Feb 2
CC Charged: Feb 17
Passport and certificate delivered: Mar 8
Note: We are a family of 4, we received 3 passports only, I called them and they said my child's application is still under examination... will follow up again in a couple of days.

I’m done boys and girls. Exactly one month after application’s delivery to Gatineau, got my passport hand delivered today along with the citizenship certificate. (Different envelopes but same Canada Post man delivered both) here you go

- Application Delivered: February 7, 2022
- Passport Printed: March 3, 2022 (issue date)
- Passport Tracking Details received: N/A
- Passport Received: March 7, 2022
- Citizenship Certificate tracking details received: March 3, 2022 (after calling them of course)
- Citizenship Certificate Received: March 7, 2022 (together with passport, different envelope)
- CC was charged on March 2, 2022.

No calls to guarantors, references, etc. No additional docs requested.

hi @munderdifflin I just sent my application over the weekend and it arrived today. I sent it over Canada post courier service, and I put a pre paid return envelope inside just in case. Did you do that or the IRCC sent you back everything (including citizen certificate) at their cost? Congratulations and thanks in advance.

Hi there. No I did not include any pre paid return envelopes. I'd think the $160 they charge covers for an Xpresspost envelope Good luck!

Thanks @Naush4 The Canada Post mailman rang my doorbell and handed me my 2 envelopes. One was a bigger envelope (with the certificate and a credit card receipt) and the other was a smaller one with the passport. The mail carrier did not obtain my signature
