Canadian Passport - Mail-In Application Timelines

My wait is finally over! Got my passport and the certificate delivered to my home address together in one envelope from Canada Post Xpress this afternoon. The whole process took 5 weeks, and 3 weeks since they charged my credit card.
Here is my timeline:
Jan 16: Sent documents to Gatineau
Jan 20: docs delivered
Feb 4: credit card charged
Feb 24: I got my passport and the certificate

I don’t think so, at least I didn’t hear anything from my references and my guarantor.
I called Passport Services myself last week (Feb 15) they said they would finalise my passport next (this) week and would mail it then. I don’t know if my call helped to speed it up or if they would have done it anyway.

Sent a Webform on February 21 but no response as of today. No CC charge either. I mean if they're returning the application, might as well do it soon so I can reapply lol. Would calling them tomorrow lead to any success?
Congratulations,. I have an exact timeline as you. I received my passport and the certificate today, Feb 24, 2022.
CC is charged anywhere after 15-19 days of delivery and passport is received anywhere between 35-40 days from delivery.
Leave it alone and don't call unless solid 4 weeks have passed or keep calling and keep stressing - choice is yours.
Applications are not returned for failing to write name on photo. Heck it's not even returned if you are missing a document. They will call you and ask it to be faxed unless you failed to send something like your citizenship certificate and even then they will work with you. The only rare circumstance where the application is returned and rejected is when you don't qualify for a passport which is dumb in itself to apply? So get over it.

thanks for the info. But Jeez, everybody's pissed off here lol
I don't blame them for being paranoid, the application and citizenship system really tests your patience
but it has certainly taught us the ' Art of waiting endlessly'. We are better prepared for the real world now hahahaha 
For Mail-In applications, do you guys take two sided or one sided while printing out the application ? I saw somewhere that one sided is preferable.
Also, do you guys submit all the pages including the instructions page or just the first 4 pages up to the page where you provide CC details ?
Not trying to be cheap with extra papers here, I just don’t like using a lot of papers where it’s not needed.
