Hello to all! I've submitted online form to get an appointment for in-person application submission, however, I've got a confirmaion# right away mentioning that I'll be contacted within 2 business days but unfortunately 3 business days have been passed but I did not get any call yet! Multiples submission of the same inquiry has been discouraged, therefore, can anyone tell me what to do now? TIA
I think they are struggling to meet their standards right now, so you may just need to patiently wait for them to contact you about it. I'd say if it's something excessive (e.g. a week or two) then you could put in a call to their hotline to ask about what you can do, but I think you'll hear something soon.

No there was no delay due to this , if this was case they simply call back and ask for missing documents or verification.
for in-person they take copy from the original document and stamp that in front you (which says original documents has been verified)
they did copy my DL,HC and my kids Birth certificates and stampd all those documents.
I visited the office 3 times and no one ask for guarantor signature on any document copy.
Hope this help.
OK, that's good. They don't seem to always call right away when there is missing information / documents. I called them at the 12 business day mark and that's when I learned that they wanted my work physical address and a document for another family member's application.

Hi, Do you know which offices in GTA accepting walk-in application? TIA

I think you can walkin to any of the Offices that are not designated “Passport Service Centres”.
E.g. you can walk in to the locations in Oakville and Burlington, but cant walk in to Mississauga or Hamilton offices.
However, you can also take an appointment to the regular service canada locations that are just collection centers like oakville/burlington

Thank you, may I know why not Mississauga (377 Burnhamthorpe Rd E) or Hamilton? Both are passport offices but not Service Canada offices. And Oakville is not a Passport office, it's a service canada office, I need express pick up service, therefore, it's not available there, so, need to be submitted 'Passport Offices' only. What about Whitby? May I know where did you submit in-person? Please share the experience? Thank you

i did a walk-in application for passport. Opted for regular service. $160. In the receipt, there is a mail-out date. Is the mail-out date, the absolute worst case date by which passport would be handed to canadapost or Is it the accurate date at which passport is handed to Canadapost (ie- It cannot be sooner or later)

It can be much sooner, in my case after 5 days
Great. Thanks for the info. So, did you get any email when it was dispatched?
