Passport Program
Gatineau QC K1A 0G3

The tracking will show it as delivered to Ottawa as it is the receiving facility.

Sent my passport application to address
Passport Program
Gatineau QC K1A 0G3 on 5 October using canadapost Xpresspost
And got delivered today and tracking status shows delivered to Ottawa.

Wait for 10 business days then you can try any of the below steps:
1) call passport customer care 1 800 567 6868 and/or
2) Fill the form https://secure.cic.gc.ca/rs-vd/stat-eng.aspx to get the tracking in email

If you are among the chosen few lucky ones, you may hear back from them before you take the above steps. Best luck!

Hi! So my app reached on Sep 22nd and on Oct 5th my credit card was charged $160. Today I called Passport Office and the rep said my app is approved but not printed yet. She gave me the tracking number for my Citizenship Certificate (not yet activated) and my file number.

How long does it take for passport after credit card is charged (app approved)? Thanks!

So I am still waiting for my PP to arrive...looks like due to virus mail delivery is delayed...I am waiting for it to arrive since last 5 days....

Date of Issuance: October 7th
Date certificate received: Oct 8th

My guarantor or references haven't been contacted, at least not yet. It seems they are processing the passport applications faster than a month ago.
I will update when I get other details.

Quick update - received passport today around 12PM.

- Application Sent: Sept 08, 2020
- Application Delivered: Sep 09, 2020
- Funds ($160) deducted from my credit card by PassportCanada - Sept 29, 2020
- Received Citizenship Certificate in mail today - Oct 02
- Passport Printed - OCT 05
- Passport Delivered - OCT 08

On OCT 05, I had to call and ask them about urgent processing so that I could get passport before 12 OCT. But agent told me passport is already printed and he will help me get it delivered 8 or 9 OCT. So at the end, did not have to go through hassle of getting my file transferred to local office and pay extra 110$.
