Though PR cards works during the oath , but IRCC Co-Ordinator suggested to have till the applicant attains the age of 65 .
- Generally in the Oath Invite form, you are provided with Seat Number : XX, During the oath while attending the zoom call, you are given instructions to rename your Zoom name according to the seat number otherwise they will do for you.
- As soon as you are into the breakout rooms , I am not sure how many people will be there but generally for every breakout room you are assigned one IRCC Co-Ordinator who will be your contact person during the zoom and will take care of till you complete the oath and send the document
I think this is an IRCC issue rather than Passport Canada. The IRCC mails out the proof of citizenship in those flimsy envelopes with no tracking or thick envelope. The same happened to me in April 2020. But I just put it in a graduation type document holder and it flattened over time. I wonder if it will come back a mess after sending it in for the passport now. (smile)Seen pics. These doesn't look like express enevelopes.
In my opinion, Express post comes in white enevelop and not brown. Canada post should be using white hard material envelopes with clear marking "Express post"for such deliveries. You should make a formal complaint to Passport Program and Canada Post. When speaking to Passport Program, ask them you now need a new citizenship certificate as the existing one has been crumbled.
Mine says “Service Canada Halifax, NS”What does the passport fee charge usually look like on the cc statement?

I've seen both addresses as the response to this question on this forum. Personally, I sent to the mail address and it was received just fine.Which address you should choose when sending canada xpresspost?
Mailing address (non-courier) or Courier address?
Hey, I'm also a Halifax applicant (just mailed in the application). Would you mind sharing your timeline?Mine says “Service Canada Halifax, NS”
I had mailed my son’s passport on July25th. Received the passport on Oct 11th.Hey, I'm also a Halifax applicant (just mailed in the application). Would you mind sharing your timeline?
From the responses in this forum, it'll be sent to you via Canada Post Xpresspost with tracking. The tracking won't be provided to you unless you contact Passport Canada directly 10 business days* after your app is submitted. Some have had to sign for it when Canada Post delivers, but some have had it left in their mailbox, so it varies. But it seems to be moving quickly these days. My credit card was charged after only 3 business days of it being delivered to Passport Canada and many on this forum say your passport and citizenship document are usually mailed back soon after the credit card charge; like days or within a week or so. But some also say this charge could happen at the beginning, middle, or end of processing; so hard to tell. But you're likely nearing the end, congrats!Hello everyone !
Applied for Passport my mail.
My credit card was charged.
My question,
How will we receive back the citizenship certificate and Passport? By Canada Post Express delivery with tracking? Will the passport office email us the tracking numbers?
And the passport will it be dropped directly in our mailboxes or we will have to go to nearest Canada Post location for pickup?
Confused and nervous!
Please let me know. Thanks.

Their phone number is (800) 567-6868; 7:30a-8:00p Monday thru Friday Eastern time. Also, I haven't seen it mentioned in the forum, but you could also sign up on Canada Post website or phone app for automatic tracking which will let you know when your passport and documents are on the way to your address automatically; as long as it's a Canadian address. That may be good so you can just sit back and wait for Canada Post to notify you rather than call Passport Canada and be on hold for an hour or more. And it appears you can also choose where to pick it up that way because Canada Post has automated lockers and options other than your home or mailbox which is nice. Hope this helps!
*10 business days after submission per their website status request form. The website doesn't clarify how this is calculated, but I would count from the date that it is received by their mail room and subtract any holidays.
*Online status requests are usually completed within 3 business days Monday thru Friday per their website.
Note: Your can find the status request form here: https://secure.cic.gc.ca/rs-vd/stat-eng.aspx
