Canadian Passport in person timeline

I just went to service Canada and they're accepting passport applications today may 1st.

Just checking In person walk in passport application , documents to support identity DL or health Card do they need signed and dated copies by the guarantor or the service passport staff will take your original documents and verify, make copies ?

No need for copy if you're going in person, originals will suffice.

Walk in mississauga office ,you get the passport in 10 working days paying the extra $20 for pick up or its more than the 10 days days ? any people experience.

Avoid waiting on the phone and get the status of your application online
The status of your application is available after:

• 5 business days if you applied in person or
• 10 business days if you applied by mail

I went in to the Mississauga branch , 377 Burnhamthorpe Road East, Main Floor, Suite 22, on the 15th May and asked the CSR for express because I'm on vacation from the 4th June ,extra $50 she said "no need ,your PP will be ready by the 31st May , which is next week wed. in time just pay $20 extra for pick up in person " total $180 , I just login to the PP tracker and got this updated message ,

The passport has been printed

• The passport is on its way to the pick-up location. Check your receipt to confirm the date and location
• The passport will not be available before the pick-up date printed on your receipt

They dint even call my fiancée ,my guarantor or any of my references. my co-worker and one of my bestie.

They told me 10 working days without express fee but called a friend and asked him a lot of questions.

Yes they do. I saw some people booking the tickets when I was there in the Passport Office
