Canada Post open everyday depends on your location.

Not compulsory.
I mailed it the next day after my guarantor signed my application.
The mail was received at the passport office two days later.
My passport is with me now without any problem during it's processing.

You only need your Driver License

- PPTC 153(06-2019) 7of 7 (for requirement checklist - applying for the first time so checked box 1,2,3,4 and 6 only and leave the one with Any valid Canadian travel document blank.
- Photocopy of Driver licence both front and back in one page and guarantor must signed by each side with date( two signatures with date)
- 2 Passport photos taken within last 6months and one certified by guarantor with date
- Original Canadian Citizenship Certificate
- Credit Card information
- Double check before sending by Canada post (Xpressport)

i followed most things you said above i mailed the application on Oct 1st by Canada Post , registered mail received Oct 5 )
hopefully i can receive the passport by the end of this month . All the best guys

Yeah they updated form PPTC 153(06-2019) TO PPTC 153(10-2020)

I sent my girlfriend to the post office and she sent it by regular mail without tracking service instead of registered mail .

You will get Canadian passport and Citizenship certificate in 23days to 26/30days days.

Hi,

I had my oath ceremony on 9 October and still waiting for my certificate.

Meanwhile, I got an offer to work in US and joining date is 8 November so it looks like I may need to apply for an urgent passport.

Is there anyone here who can share experience with urgent passport processing?
