Hi all
Thanks in advance. I'm asking because of my wife. Her parents met at college in Canada. They lived in Canada until a month before her birth. They went down to Massachusetts for the birth. Her mom and her lived there the first month then came back to Canada and never lived there again. She now works for the Canadian federal government so I have a few questions: she never had a US passport so is she a citizen there even though she is here ? By swearing her allegiance to the Canadian federal government does that not constitute a loss of US citizenship (assuming she had it) ? Are our children, both born in Canada, considered US citizens? Thank you
