we want to get marry and live together here . we both have no clue where to start(not even how to get married)

Getting married depends on the province you're in. Typically, you get a marriage license and then you visit a marriage commissioner or other person authorized to perform marriages. Then it takes a while to get the certificate.

For the sponsorship, the overall process takes about a year. Please, read the guide instead of asking people here to write it out again, as the guide explains everything relatively well. To save you the effort of searching Google for "Canadian spousal sponsorship guide", here is the direct link: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/application-forms-guides/guide-5525-basic-guide-sponsor-your-spouse-partner-child.html

What happened to the girlfriend from Costa Rica you were planning to marry and sponsor last year?
