hi this is nirmal raj from chennai,
i have plans to move to Canada so i choose to enter Canada as student.
after making this decision i applied for many colleges in Canada and successfully
admitted in those colleges in Mechanical technician for Jan 2010
intake i have started my loan process too, my its almost done
but today i met a NRI person who travels to all countries
he said that i fit the bill for immigration.
i am new to this section immigration and surfed some Canadian websites
to know the complete information and i came to know that skilled workers need
67 points to apply for immigration.
let me say about my profile if u think that iam suitable please give me some
suggestion whether i can go as a student spend 12L for fees and get PR
or whether this would be good.
i calculated the score but i need u to calculate and say me please

My Suggestions .....

Study Visa
If you go to study visa, please select only degree course.. you have 3 years diploma after 10. In canada, Deegree courses are of 4 years duration, you may get admission in direct 2nd year.

Bachelor of Applied Science( MEchanical) or Bachelor of Applied Technology. If you merge your 10 diploma certificate will not give you the value of degree..

After completing Degree, You will get 2 years work permit, you will get PR on later stage. You have money for 3 years of study.

PR Visa
If you arrange a permanent job offer from canadian employer, you may eligible to apply for canada PR Visa. For that you have to take the help of any immigration lawyer. Permanent job offer will help you to get your PR VIsa. Process take 1 year. Beware of immigration agent, they ask for higher charger, do not pay any money in advance.

Work Permit
You can apply for work permit. you have take help of agent to job offer. Work permit will be for 2 years and on later stage you will automatically get the way to get PR Visa. please do not pay any amount of money to agent in advance.

They may charge upto 5 lack to get your work permit.

I share my example with you
One of the agent told to get work permit in just 6 months. Asking 25000 Rupees in advance and another 6 lack after getting work permit, but I have to pay money in India before going to canada.

Another agent to offer me for work permit. But it is quite different. They ask me only 10000 Rupees and another 3.5 will be paid after going to canada. Every month Rs. 50000 will be deducted from my salary for 7 months when I am in canada. I have to pay all the money from Canada, after earning.

Second option is good......

Whether agent ask, just share in this forum, you will get better answer whether you should go or not...
