Hi There

Thanks for sharing this article, i have a question for all the seniors here about Adaptability.

My wife is not going to accompany me for canada for first 6-12 months, can i claim these point in my application.

If yes then do i have to pay fee for both of us or just for me and what about the requirement of funds.

Yep...
Well you will have to include her in the Application as "Accompanying Spouse" for claiming her points.
Proof of funds will be according to the number of people in your Family, You, Wife and children (if any).
You can goto Canada alone (if you are principal applicant)....land alone, settle and then get your depended to Canada. BUT you will have to include your wife in Application for that.

IF you dont want her to be included then you will have to sign a form (non accompanying). But that is uncharted territory for me. But if you do that, they cannot join you, and I THINK, they will still have to undergo Medicals etc. Though no funds needed for them. YOU will have to convince the Immi officer as well as to why you are leaving them behind (my opinion).
