I am stuck with Birth ceritificate, my birth certificate doesn't have my name and also my mother's name is incorrect. Can I show 10th certificate as dob proof and attach a affidavit stating same. I am in US these days so can I use US notary for affidavit.

Yes you can do that. The affidavit, I believe, will be issued by The Consulate General of India in your respective city or region.

I have sent my application with 10th certificate notarised by USA notary as Birth Certificate on 29th September through DHL and have received message from DHL regarding my mail delivery....
It there a way to track if CIC receive my application? ..
how much chances are there for me to be in cap this time.. (NOC 2173)

DHL uses a 3rd party to deliver it to NS. I believe you have to wait for a few days to get that information. I would recommend getting in touch with DHL directly as they may not update it online.

You have a decent chance. As per other members, the average count should fall post May, which means that the quota will not fill as quickly as it may seem at the moment.
