Dear All

I want to start this thread to put All the anxious hearts to rest for all of us who have sent all their PP's and landing fees etc to New Delhi and are finally waiting for the visa.

I sent of all my docs [ the whole lot, including PP and Landing fee ] to New Delhi on 14.01. I got a receipt dated 19.01 against the landing fees paid.

A letter dated 09.02 was issued to me,( which reach my agent in Canada on 23.02 ) requesting clarification about my ' ACTIVITY' since th age of 18, for myself and my wife.

So :

1. Going by the dates, the New Delhi Visa offier did look at my file after exactly 3 weeks of receipt - so , thank God, slow and steady, the queue is definitely moving.

2. I do have a question here. when I was asked to resubmit the above mentioned information, my agent sent me the SCHEDULE 1 form for myself and my wife. Now while I was going through this form I did find a few errors, through the entire form, even other than the explanation for the partcular question that was asked to me in the letter by CHC ND.

So after speaking to my agent I decided to change all the incorrect information throughout the entire form and have already sent an updated schedule 1 for both myself and my wife. Is this a wrong thing to do in such a late stage of my application ?

Seniors, please advise

What was the error(s) you corrected in the new updated Schdule 1? Is it some minor changes here and there or major ones? Specify the nature of changes made. The very fact that CHC got back to you means they came across something that either did not match the information in other forms or documents submitted.

The IO will correlate all the dates you have mentioned. For eg, if, for education, you have mentioned that you were studying course ABC in city XYZ from date1 to date2, then the address table in the background declaration form should correlate with the same. If by mistake you mentioned a different city address anywhere between date1 and date2, it might raise doubts.

Make sure that all the information (esp dates, coz its easy to make mistakes there) correlates exactly.
