polar69 thank u...indeed is good but just wanna know bout job market in healthcare sector...
Health care sector. This depends on what your credentials are? Is the job you are looking for regulated (or not?). If regulated you would have to clear licensing exams. If not, you would probably need to go for a bridging program and try for jobs.
if you are experienced, it might be easier still may have to go through some bridging programs.

There are jobs available, try looking in websites such as workopolis, indeed or monster.ca to get an idea.

Since you have worked here already, I think chances of landing a job is higher!

This term "Canadian Experience" is just a barrier the locals use to protect their own local indiginous population against these immigrants. Has no other real meaning. There is no outstanding difference between Canadian Experience and World Wide experience of other countries.

Canadian Experience you ask?

I came to this country also thinking that I need Canadian experience and you know what. It's nonsense because they honestly don't care if you have Canadian experience or not as long as you have experience and you can perform the job perfectly well that's all that matters.

Now don't let a recruiter or a company fool you by saying that you don't have experience because your experience in your homeland is equivalent to what they do here.

I asked a interview this question after my interview and I said "Do I need Canadian experience" The hiring manager turned round and said "No your experience is acknowledged here and we will do a reference check. Your English is perfect and in fact it's better than most Canadians because your British. If your english was not good then yes we would require Canadian experience because we can't afford to have any miss-communications here as that could affect our companies performance"

So if your english is really good you will be fine.
I should be the one to say that you were lucky. They do require a Canadian experience for sure, you got lucky because I arrived here in 2013, with my education from UK, not to mention from prestige University, plus my experience working in a International law firm but I never got lucky! My friends who are British with MBA arrived 6 months after me, and they struggled for a year in Canada, they both have experiences working in UK and USA, so they gave up on the Canadian dream. They`re now working in UAE (Dubai) and they are happy not to have wasted more time in Canada.

So don't say they don't require Canadian experience, they do and even the education plays a factor when it comes for job search.

If you are Caucasian and from the UK, Canadian experience is not a problem. If you only have UK education then that doesn't count.....
