Hi All,

I am from India and I have been in Canada from 1 year and 4 months on Close work permit. This means that my salary was paid in Indian Salary.
I have Indian experience for 6+ years. I have got my ECA done from WES and my IELTS score are below:

IELTS CLB
Listening 7.5 9
Reading 7.0 8
Speaking 6.5 8
Writing 7.5 9

I am not sure if I am eligible for Express Entry or not.
If I am eligible then which category? CEC or FSW ?

I do not have Canadian job offer plus my salary was paid as Indian currency.

Thank you for your help

Step 1: Determine if eligible using 'Come To Canada' tool

Step 2: If eligible then get your educational credentials evaluated (if they are not from Canada)

Step 3: complete EE profile

I am not sure if I am eligible for Express Entry or not. - based on your information i think you are ..pls check on MYCIC and calculate your points....
If I am eligible then which category? CEC or FSW ? - Both
I do not have Canadian job offer plus my salary was paid as Indian currency. - That should be fine ... fill valid job offer as NO

Thank you for your help

Check CIC to check your eligibility. For score check below,

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp

It will be FSW.
Check your score by filling out the information from here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp

Thank you for your reply.
I checked for my eligibility but it says I am eligible to both.
I am not sure how I will be able to show the papers of Canada work experience as I am still Indian Employee.

Thank you for your reply. This helps a lot.
I created my profile with mentioning "Job Offer in Canada" as No.

Thank you all for your answers.

I have one more question: In the pre-requisite document of Express Entry, It is mentioned that the funds for 1 person should be $11,931.
Should this fund be available from minimum 6 months in my account? or I can deposit them right away in my account after getting ITA/PT notification?
