Hello,

Did anybody get a solution to get points for 1 year of Canadian experience from two different and non-continuous jobs?

I started my job in Feb 2014 and i am still doing it....still the form said I am eligible from CEC and also gave the 1 year experience points....I guess since the system doesnt asks for exact dates...it calculates on the basis of year so Feb/2014 to Jan 2015 it counts as one year...i think

If the system doesn't think there's a problem, CEC officer will. CEC experiences has always been counted to the date. I've seen someone on this forum got rejected because the experiences is about a week off.

Would it even matter because by the time my application will be received by the officer(If i am selected) i would have reached the one year experience mark.

The first draw will be last week of January

The officer should be able to see the date you declare your work experiences. Therefore, the officer should be able to tell if you have 1 year of Canadian work at the time EE system records. IMO, that might be a concern to the officer for misrepresentation.

Think of plain-vanilla CEC, if you throw the application package into the mail 2 week before you have 1 year of Canadian work, and hope it takes 1 week to reach CIC office and more weeks to have someone to look at it, you will probably still got rejected.

But as i said i havent written any thing wrong...i started working in feb 2014 till present which i wrote in the forms...its a glitch in the system i suspect which calculates my experience to be one year already...

It is totally possible a technical glitch caused it so you can argue (the system is days old). I don't think this is a clear cut for CIC accusing you for misrepresentation, nor it's fair if it's CIC's system glitch that caused it.

Nonetheless, your file will get reviewed by an officer some time later so they will know eventually.

True i cannot write any thing else than the date i started otherwise then it will be misrepresentation.

I have full-time continuous Canadian experience .
I am working from Feb 2013 - till now.
Yet my experience was not accepted by the express entry system.

Me too exactly. Be very careful and submit a case specific query and have the response noted. For me, I was away for 8 weeks from Canada on vacation and my 12 month will complete end of March. But, I still got the 12 months CEC points when I am actually short of 8 weeks.

Given the fact that it denied my CEC application entirely, it seems that Express Entry is currently giving ZERO status to LMIA exempt-jobs for Canadian experience.

I don't think this is intended...

Did you check it later on?? How did you resolve it ?? What are you doing about it ??

I called CIC yesterday and spoke to an agent. I described them the problem:

More than one year skilled Canadian work experience but my online Profile is showing me "CRS - Human Capital - Canadian Work Experience" = O points.

She was not able to help me and gave me the advise to right an email using the case specific enquiry form which I did.

Now the problem is that the wait time for a reply by CIC can be 30 days or more for any case specific response...

Looks like we have to go with less points into the first draw of express entry candidates :(

Dude... did u get any response for your case specefic query ??
