Canadian Experience as new immigrants FSW

Hello Guys,
Many of us have questions and concerns as FSW immigrant of being asked of Canadian experience when looking for job. I just want to get input form any of you. Would employers in Canada cosider experience working with Canadian Company in other countries as Canadian experience. What do you think or if you have experience regarding this, pls post your comments.

For example one has experience working with Canadian Company in USA. Would Canadian employers view that the culture and business environment between Canada and USA is similar so that a person that has worked in Canadian Company in USA will be considered as having Canadian experience?

erikvirgo I can not comment in general but I know of a specific case

I had a discussion with some one who worked in SAP Germany and moved to Canada on PR, Canada SAP had an opportunity simliar to her role in Germany and she was not considered for the role as she lacked the Canadian Experience

But this is different than your question as you are talking about North America Experience. I got feedback from some networking websites that North American Experience is given some consideration
