Canadian ETA problems. HELP

Hello, I am a Mexican citizen and I applied for an ETA (online) on February 13,2022, later I received an email saying that they have my application. But last email I got from them was on February 26,2022. And in that email says: "A review of your Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) application remains underway and will continue at the Canadian Mission nearest to the residential address you indicated on your application. The Canadian Mission will be in touch with you to advise you of next steps."
I try used the website to check my status but it just says "Not started".
I just do not know what to do. I send email to the Canadian embassy in Mexico, but they do not answer me and I have been waiting for an answer for more than 6 months. I check my email every day to see if the Canadian immigration need more documents, but they have sent me nothing since February 26,2022.
Can someone give me an advice? And also, what does "Canadian Mission" means???? :c

Didn't they ask you for a police certificate? You seem to indicate that in your other post.

To answer the question about the eTA, there's something that has caused your application to be non-standard. Do you have any idea what that might be? Unfortunately not much you can do but wait.

Yeah. About the police certificate is a different case, not mine.
I had two student visas refused. One I applied inside my country and the other one I applied inside Canada. And also I got a visitor visa extension denied. But I do not know reason for none of this refusal visas... But anyways, I applied for an ETA looooooooooooooooooooong time ago, and I still have no answer.
I know I just have to wait, because I already went to the embassy in Mexico and I could not go inside and via email no one answers me. I just wanted to know if I can do something else rather than be waiting...

There's nothing you can do other than wait.
