hi guys!

I am here in Canada on visit visa because I took an assessment exam in Nova Scotia for nurses. Now, they require me to study for 13 months as a re-entry program for me to be oriented in the hospital system in Canada. Now my question is, am I allowed to apply for study permit inside Canada? If not, where should I submit my application, in which embassy? I lived in Saudi for 3 years as a nurse then went here in Canada. Where do you think should I apply? Also, when you guys submitted your application, did you also submit your passport? Thanks for any reply!

last June 26,2012, i have submitted my student visa application to Canadian embassy manila.
until now, i still waiting for their reply.I really don't have any idea how long will it take to get a student visa...

i was actually thinking twice when they said processing can take for only 1-2months, but as i have read in your case... it is really possible... i'm excited for our application.

mind if i ask? we will also be processing our application here in manila... what is the proof of LANGUAGE that you submitted? my CLP has IELTS RESULT total band score of 7.5 but it is GENERAL... not ACADEMIC... can we submit that instead? please advice... congrats again and may you have a successful life in canada...

hello po. I would like to ask po kung aside sa visa sticker sa passport, may letter din bang pinadala ang embassy? I also received my student visa last july 28, 2012. But I'm just worried coz there's no letter along with it. Hindi ba hahanapin ng immigration ang letter?Please do reply. Thanks

Congratulations to everyone who received their study permits. Mine is taking way toooo long. My application was filed last March 9, 2012 and it was only last August 14 that I was notified for medicals. Until now I am waiting...
