Hello all, hope you are having a great day. Please clear my confusion about some point. Here I have mentioned about some hints about my profile.
I have been working as Lecturer in CSE(Computer Science and Engineering) Major.I have Canadian equivalence M.Sc degree but do not have a Canadian degree, have some score for spouse. My CRS score seemed very low for EE, it is 384. I want to complete my PHD research from Canada as it will help to develop my research background and also to increase my CRS score. But I am little bit confused about some issues, like obtaining PHD is not possible in short period of time, so how can I increase my CRS score within small amount of time? If I will enroll in a doctoral degree of 4 years in Canada, when will I obtain the point for Canadian degree? After 4 years of completion of my doctoral or P.hd study?
In CRS tool, I have found a option "Degree, Diploma or certificate or 3 or longer or a Master's, professional or Doctoral degree of at least 1 academic year."
I have confusion in this term " 1 academic year".
My query/confusion is:
1. If I want to add my doctoral degree in Canada, when will I obtain the Canadian Degree point for my CRS profile? after 4 years completing my Phd or after 1 academic year of my P.hd before completion of my degree.
2. For increasing my CRS score, what is the best solution for my profile? please suggest your valuable comments.

1. You have to completed your degree in Canada before you can get the educational points. You won't get any points for completing just one year of your program and before you complete your degree.
2. Hard to say without knowing your overall profile. Have you maxed out your IELTS score? How old are you and are you losing points due to your age?

I guesstimated your ielts score and your wife’s. Based on the information you provided, I don’t understand how you got such a low score. Using CRS tool, your profile should have been in the high 400s...
What are you and your wife exact ielts scores?
