Canadian degree completed but not certificate awarded

I have created EE profile in CEC. My husband just finished his PhD from a Canadian University. He got the official degree completion letter from the university after submission of his thesis but his convocation is in June. Therefore, he wouldn't get the certificate before June. So can I claim points for his degree? If so what I suppose to check in the EE profile? I would appreciate if anyone could clarify.

Yes. You can submit the letter and/or his transcript for proof of completion, along with a brief explanation about the date of the convocation and awarding of the degree.
