I believe it is prudent to send a certified translation of the diploma along with the original. My diploma is also in Latin but i got a certified translation from my university immediately after graduation and uploaded both.

Hi guys, i had a Canadian bachelors degree but it was in latin, do you think i needed a translation for it? I just sent a scan of the degree

You will have to get it translated. This what the requirement says 'If a supporting document is in a language other than English or French, the applicant must provide IRCC with a copy of the original document as well as a version translated by a certified translator.'

Check this link http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/perm/express/intake-complete.asp

Damn, do you think I should submit the translation with a CSE?

Where should I get it translated?

Now I'm worried :( I can't afford to get rejection.

Also should I get the degree notarized? On CIC it said a copy of the degree and I didn't read anything about notarized

Hi - I have the same issue with my degree. I attached an enrollment verification form together with the degree. Did you end up opening the CSE and submitting the translation?

I ended up getting rejected for a PCC issue, so when i re-applied on my next ITA i submitted a translated copy along with my latin degree and i have got PPR now

Thanks so much for your answer, and congrats on PPR. I ordered a translation from my school and should expect it to be mailed to me soon. Thinking about opening up a CSE and sending it.
