Hello all,

I'm new to the forum, and I'm in desperate need of help with my EE application. I was banking on high CEC points because I've been in Canada for over 10 years, graduated from Canadian college, and have worked full time and part time for over 3 years. However during my application, I was eligible for Federal skilled worker but not Canadian Experience Class. I believe I should be eligible for both in this situation. I'm currently working 20 hours a week under my student visa, and my employer had given me a job offer without applying for LMIA. Also, my EE application is now sitting at 415 points, which I think should be higher. Any advice on how I could continue to improve the score? Any tips would be appreciated.

Improve your English scores , that helps.
I guess you are losing points on age , I am sorry to say that.
At this point, you are on your student visa , the work experience doesn't count. And you are not on work permit, you are not qualified for CEC, but yes for FSW, the system is right.
For CEC, you have to work full time , paid , 12 months at least , to be qualified.
Maybe you should register your profile on EE system, expecting to be invited by Ontario government if you have one year full time work experience in any where of Canada in the past five years.
Good luck

Try to improve your score (English test or something else)

Hope for EE drawns to be lower this year

Consider provincial nomination programs for International Graduates (every province works differently)

Before EE was easier for International Graduates to obtain PR, now is hard to get the score.

I don't know how useful and expensive could be ask a inmigration lawyer about your case, sometimes they knows better the system, but EE looks is working fine
