Canadian citizenship

hello all, been a while since i last posted but a little intro. Name is John and i am a british expat now living in Canada as a PR under family sponsorship. It has been 2 years now and i am starting to think about citizenship application so my question to you guys in the know (assuming this has been asked a lot and there is a really helpful page someone could just link as a reply ) is what information should i have to hand for my application? apart from the record of landing and pr card that is :rofl:

A little about my last 2 years here. I have not been working but a mix of part time and full time student over that time so no tax forms, any questions feel free to ask.

Better to file your income tax details even if you dont have any income. Also, you can just try to fill up the application form and physical presence sheet and will get an idea as to what docs and records you need. Possibly the time when you are due, there will be a new set of rules and application; but still you will get an idea as to what basic items you have to keep handy.

we have been filing taxes but since i have no income any correspondence has been through my wife, although i have gotten tax returns but no documents.

It is best to create individual account and print out returns directly from your account.

If you wish you can contact/call them http://www.cra-arc.gc.ca/cntct/hdsk-nd-eng.html

They ask few questions and will email you the access code.

They have records of all your returns.
