Congrats Purrple.. What date did they send the letter out. and how far out is the Oath?

Just want to see how much delay so they have administratively between issuing letter and updating Ecas.

Letter mailed after easter long weekend, April 22nd. Oath scheduled on May 7 (2 weeks in between).

There're a whole bunch of ceremonies scheuled in Windsor over the next two weeks - I would think that's another factor affecting scheduling of ceremonies for individuals.

Sorry to Bug you Purrple.. Did you call CIC anytime recently.. and if yes, what was thier response..

Obviously, we are trying to derive some fuzzy time lime for the entire nation out of 1 case.. haha..

Well, I called CIC on wednesday. The agent mentioned that the letter was sent out on Tuesday. So i went online on wensday, thursday to see no updates. But this morning ECas was updated to reflect what the agent told me 2 days ago

True - its hard to conclude how they process. I know 2 other Windsor applicants who applied last year (RQ and non-RQ). Both had tests the same time as mine. They received their Oath in a week or so. While I am a 2012 applicant with RQ. My file track was clearly different from the 2013 applicants' track

daktrader: it is quite surprising that not only it is taking such an exorbitant time for your citizenship application processing, but it is also equally intriguing you haven't steered towards the WOM route yet? is it financial restriction? or you kind of expected this time frame from CIC because they have RQd you twice (which is probably the first time Im seeing)? Either ways this delay, for you in particular, is totally deplorable. I could only wish you all well. Hope to see you become a Canadian soon, my friend.

PS: I see you joined the forum very recently and analyzing your previous posts didnt give much info behind this unfair ordeal that you are going through. Hope to see you share some details and shed light on your situation, if you're okay with it.

ECAS updated to 'In Process' status. Processing start date - April 11th

Acknowledging letter sent on March 5th (this what they wrote in my online application status) but I didn't receive it until today April 27, I am in Mississauga. Is it normal ?
