Hi Friends,
Can I use my minor child's recent passport as photo Id and health card.
I was looking at the ID requirement of 5(1) application for the minor that has the following list (copied and pasted)
Examples include:
  • Identity card issued by a provincial/territorial/federal government
  • Social services card
  • a Canadian driver’s licence
  • a Canadian health insurance card
  • School ID card
  • a copy of the biographical page of a passport/travel document, etc.
and 5(2) has these examples only (and it is driving me nuts, why this difference)
  • school record
  • health insurance card
I am filling 5(2) and I do not have a photo Id for my son other than the valid passport.
Advise, please.

Is it the Health Card without the Photo ID? To be safe I would redo their Health Card to get their photo on it. Otherwise, best to call IRCC and check with them.
