Click this link and ask Leon on this forum http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/spousal-sponsorship-t46995.0.html
I hope that helps.

Receiving ODSP will not disqualify you from sponsoring your spouse. Current timelines for Nigeria is 15 months through Accra.

look into applying through Spain responsable office (which i think it's Paris)...if he is a resident in Spain and he was admitted with a work visa for at least one year then i think u can choose Paris....Accra office is slower and very strict....from what i hear they ask for interview very often, they r very strict with the proof u submit etc....

You are correct. ACCRA asks for interview always as I do not think anyone has gone through that office without interview. The guys at Accra can be very funny with their approach, I would suggest you apply through the Office responsible for Spain if he has been legally admitted into Spain for more than one year.

Interview is mandatory at Accra. It's an unwritten rule there. Every one is seen as a fraud artist until you prove you're not during the interview. Unfortunately, genuine marriages gets denied and crushed in the carnage. Avoid Accra as much as possible if you can.

I am also married to a Nigeria I agree with what the others have said. Accra is tough and you will also need to go to the interview and it is expensive to go to Ghana. It is much better to apply through Spain.
We applied and were denied in Accra 3 years ago we live in China so now we are applying through HK

GOOD LUCK
