Canadian born kids = Canadian Citizens?

My kids were born while I was on my study visa. They have Canadian Passport are they considered Canadian Citizens?

To clarify, they are citizens by birth. Naturalization is when a person immigrates and then becomes a citizen.

You are wrong. A child is Canadian citizen if they were born here in Canada. Naturalization is when you applied and received your Canadian citizenship. My baby was born here and gotten her Canadian passport and birth certificate as well.

if a kid is born in USA soil, by default he/she is American .
